Full-arch implant teeth
A full set of teeth for the upper or lower jaw, held by implants, for adults whose teeth are failing or who can't keep a denture steady.
It is surgery and a restoration, planned together. A surgeon places the implants in your jaw, and the prosthodontist designs and fits the teeth that attach to them.
In brief
For adults with failing teeth or a loose denture
Surgery, then healing time
Usually six to ten visits in all

What happens
Six to ten visits over several months is usual. Your plan sets yours.
- 01
Step 1: Scan and plan
A 3D scan, a bite record and a visit to go through your written plan and its fees.
- 02
Step 2: Surgery
The surgeon removes the teeth that can't stay and places the implants, with numbing and, if agreed, sedation.
- 03
Step 3: Healing and a temporary set
Soft food while the implants join the bone. Some people wear a temporary set; some don't.
- 04
Step 4: Final fitting
When the implants have healed, Dr. Dockery fits the final set and checks your bite.
Comfort, alternatives, risks and fees
What to expect, said plainly.
Comfort
Surgery is done with numbing. Sedation is available if you and the surgeon agree on it.
Comfort and sedationAlternatives and waiting
Other choices are keeping and repairing the teeth that can be saved, a conventional denture, a removable denture on implants, or no treatment. Failing teeth can loosen, break or become infected, and bone can shrink over time, so waiting may make surgery more involved. Nothing here is urgent unless you have swelling or pain.
Risks and after-care
Swelling, bruising and soreness are expected for several days. Infection, an implant that doesn't join the bone, and nerve or sinus problems are risks, and your surgeon explains how likely each is for you. You leave with written instructions and a number to call.
How it is billed
You get the fee for each step in writing before it starts, and a written estimate if you pay without insurance. No price is quoted over the phone or by message.

Questions about this
How long until I have all my teeth?
It depends on your bone, your bite and how you heal. The plan gives a range, and we don't promise a date.
Is it a fixed set or one I take out?
Either can be done. The comparison on the home page shows the differences, and the surgeon and prosthodontist advise on yours.
Who does what?
The surgeons remove teeth and place implants. Dr. Dockery designs the teeth and fits them.
